Holy Dusters

St James is a beautiful church. The church is kept clean, and the fixtures and fittings kept in good order by a group who do regular cleaning and polishing, and help before major events and festivals to make St James look its best. There is a rota system to ensure the tasks and time required is not onerous. Many people love some time in the church cleaning, with the silence and the felt presence of the congregations over the last century around them.
